Los berlineses tienen ese "je ne sais quoi" que siempre me ha gustado, y no necesariamente por el hecho de haber nacido allí. Una vez que has pasado una pequeña temporada en la ciudad, todos parecen cubiertos de un halo magnético que casi lo puedes tocar.
Imaginaos entonces lo que ese sentimiento aplicado a la música puede llegar a hacer, y ahora mas, en uno de los ritmos que me trae de la mano a la locura este año. Me refiero del regreso al Synth Pop que hace que me sienta en una regresión permanente, y aun más cuándo está aplicado a la increíble mezcla que Eric Crusher y Chloe, artistas reunidos en Berlín con su nuevo proyecto SWEATSHIRT, logran conseguir.
Su filosofía de hacernos sudar la camiseta, logra un hit en nuestra recomendación musical por el resto del año. No les quitéis el ojo de encima, paralelamente tienen trabajos muy interesantes pero en conjunto son un ¡Hit! Berliners have that certain je ne sais quoi that I have always liked, and not necessarily only in those who were born there. Once you have spent even a short spell in the city everyone seems to be surrounded by a magnetic halo that feels almost like you could touch.
Imagine then what might happen when you apply that feeling to music too, and even more so, to one of the rhythms that has brought me almost to the point of madness this year. I’m talking about the return to Synth Pop that has made me live in an almost permanent regression, and furthermore when applied to the incredible mixes that Eric Crusher and Chloe, artists reunited in Berlin for their new project SWEATSHIRT, have managed to get hold of.
Their philosophy of making us sweat gets a hit in our musical recommendations for the rest of the year. Don´t take your eyes off them, aside from this project they both have some very interesting work, but in conjunction they are a Hit!
